I call on all Americans and all peace loving people of the world to voice support for the American Peace Plan as a way to end the “war” in Gaza. I call on President Trump to add his name and full support to the peace plan, as he is the only politician with the power and the will to make this happen.
In line with President Trump’s pledge to Make America Great Again, the ongoing crisis in Gaza is a situation that only he can solve in a humane and lasting manner. It is clear that no peace can exist between Israel and the people of Gaza. It is clear that the civilian population of Gaza currently do not enjoy “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” and require immediate humanitarian intervention to end the ongoing crisis.
President Trump can offer political and humanitarian asylum to the people of Gaza, and in return hold in good faith the entire Gaza Strip until such time as it can be fully reconstructed. Gaza cannot be annexed by Israel as it belongs to the people of Gaza. Under the leadership of President Trump, regional partners (UAE comes to mind) can partner with the United States to rebuild Gaza over the next 10 years, creating a fully demilitarized and secure free zone to foster peace and economic prosperity in the region. This freezone can become an economic engine & sovereign wealth fund to provide for the Palestinian people everywhere to rebuild a stable society.
All peace loving people of Gaza that are willing to renounce violence should be welcome to immigrate to the United States. All those who chose to stay should be offered resettlement in the West Bank as part of a larger settlement with Israel in which Israel agrees to relocate its “unauthorized” settlements in the West Bank to create a unified province. This province could decide to become an autonomous region within the Kingdom of Jordan as part of a larger regional peace. For all those from Gaza and the West Bank that want to continue to fight Israel and stand in the way of peace, they will be given the choice to relocate to Iran or Saudi Arabia, or face jail as criminals.
Why should America offer asylum to over 3 million people from Gaza? Why does America have an obligation to solve the world’s problems when its own people are in need of help and its own cities need investment? America should do this because legal immigration has always made America stronger. America should do this because it has supported Israel with weapons, aid and intelligence for over 75 years and Israel is a strategic partner in the region. Neither Israelis, Palestinians or Americans can live a happy and prosperous life while this war continues. No one benefits from children dying in a war not of their choosing. True peace in our time cannot happen until there is a solution to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, and neither side is able to create a lasting peace amid the hatred that both sides feel. Only America has the power to force both sides to end this conflict.
The larger reason why America, under the leadership of President Trump, must do this is because the alternative is too horrible to accept. Children dying of malnutrition. Mothers and Fathers forced to watch their children grow up amid rubble, without water or electricity, schools or a hope of a better life. This type of despair breeds terrorism. It also breeds Anti Semitism around the world and within America. Hatred begets hatred, death calls out for revenge. America has its own dark past - our government has forcibly relocated civilian populations and moved them onto reservations in the past. We have a choice not to do that again. We have a choice not to have to explain to our children and grandchildren why we supported forcibly removing the people of Gaza into refugee camps and allowing Israel to annex the Gaza Strip. For our own national soul we owe it to humanity to offer a better solution.
President Trump has the power to unite all Americans in this cause. He could offer asylum to all the people of Gaza, allowing them a path to citizenship within 10 years. He could also make America even stronger by doing that. With aid and contribution from willing countries, America could resettle Palestinians in our cities, bringing with them investment that our cities desperately need. President Trump could partner with China, and instead of using eminent domain to repatriate over 275,000 acres of US farmland, offer settlement opportunities to Palestinians that want to be part of the regenerative agricultural revolution that is ready to Make America Healthy Again. That is half the size of Rhode Island and 3x the size of Gaza. President Trump can be like Moses to Palestinian people and lead them to the promised land. President Trump can show the world true Christian values when he says “"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God". President Trump can show that he is a true friend of the Jewish people as he helps them end the eternal conflict that forces Israel to be at war with its neighbors and with themselves. Shalom doesn’t just mean the absence of war; it means completeness, safety, and harmony. Only through peace can the Israeli people find Shalom.
President Trump has the ability to solve the Gaza crisis before it is too late. From there he can de-militarize the borders with Syria & Lebanon and work with Iran to deescalate tensions within the region. President Trump can also bring together all Americans who cry out for justice. He can win over “never Trump” Democrats, inspire MAGA Republicans and prove that he hates war and loves peace. But the time to act is now. He must risk alienating powerful interests within America who prey on chaos and disorder and align with all good people who pray for peace.

I must say as I read your article I was confused multiple times, felt hopeful sometimes and maybe at the risk of offending you saw a level of naivety and delusion.
Let’s start with president Trump whose base truly doesn’t want war, is a a collection of isolationists, anti-semites and Islamophobes. And you are asking the most President Trump to sell this people an idea that includes the immigration of nearly 3,000,000 Arabs (which to this people means muslim) to America in order to help bring peace to a Jewish state. The same Donald Trump who brought forth the Abraham Accords and moved the embassy to Jerusalem a move designed to be antagonistic. The same Donald Trump that unilaterally withdrew from the Iran nuclear deal, a decision that has led to further conflict and destabilization.
Now lets move on to some of your proposed solutions, while I will admit that the Palestinians will have a good and peaceful day to day life outside of present day Gaza, there are lengths people will go to in-order to preserve their home, heritage and history. No where in there did you mention the establishment of a Palestinian State, something the Palestinians have been dreaming about for the past seven decades. You said that anyone willing to fight Israel should immigrate to Iran or Saudi Arabia, why? Do Palestinians not have a right to self determination, can they not fight for a home, a nation and dignity. And can’t we provide to them the support they need in creating that state and enforcing a peaceful coexistence.
In 1952 the United Nations against the wishes of my people forced a federation with Ethiopia, that decision marked a 30 year war after 1962 for independence. People will go to great lengths and endure unimaginable suffering to live in their home.
The single greatest thing Trump can do today without upsetting his horrific base is to allow the admission of Palestine as a full member of the United Nations, recognize its rights to self governance as a state and its responsibility to peacefully co-exist with its neighbours.
The officiation is also not lost on me, you point out the suffering of the Palestinians, the death of children, the ongoing starvation, the wiping out of entire families, the systemic displacement and illegal and immoral settlements. However, you do not state who is doing all of this, how, and for what purpose.
Peace requires compromise I understand that, but haven’t the Palestinians already given too much, have they not suffered enough what more do they have to give, the ground beneath their feet?
Confusion is thwarted by knowing of the renewing of the Ben Gurion Canal between Red Sea and Medditteranean Gaza oil/gas drilling and resort to play golf by the sea between Suez Egypt and Crime(a) in Ukraine. Russia&China trade through this Israel/Saudi Arabia Africa route as through Panama where China is building a new canal to compete with ever busy Panama Canal between the Atlantic and Pacific trades to North and South Americas. Gaza City first, obviously, then Gaza, lock stock and barrel Israel. Or, Israel/Palestine State or one/two or more States? Lebanon? Gaza is a good fit for a Beirut type trade settlement? Re-set Iran/Lebanon/Israel with all instead of not. This may not happen before an assassination, like the first WW, like many times before 2nd WW, then? WW3? Or, is this already WW3 to be trade diplomacyied away and along open Global Trade Talks not Presidential Prime Minsterial theo-political grounds rather World Bank World Court as United Nations. A democratic social world not of per-sons or per-daughters but People plain, and simple. Will that happen? Well, someplaces sometimes while this is already happenning in local climate action groups e.g.) becomes something of a new-normal ecology of Economic Trade&Life on Earth. thx
